The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) ordered Supertech to refund home buyer’s money with interest:

In this case, Supertech even though submitted the completed drawings in February 2015 have not received the Occupancy Certificate (OC) from the authority. Setting aside the builder’s pleas, NCDRC said “The home buyer is entitled to refund of the amount paid by them alongwith adequate compensation in the form of interest at the rate of 10% per annum from the date of each payment, till the date of refund”.  NCDRC also ordered the builder to pay a sum of Rs 25,000 as the cost of litigation to the complainant.  The payment is to be made within three months from the date of order i.e. 23rd April, 2019.
